Organisasjon<\/strong>
\u00d8stlandet Vektl\u00f8fterregion er opprettet av Norges Vektl\u00f8fterforbund (NVF), og best\u00e5r av alle idrettslag innen regionens grenser som er medlem av NVF. Regionens grenser fastsettes av NVF og omfatter fylkene Innlandet, Viken og Oslo.<\/p>\n

Organisasjonsleddet ble i 2008 vedtatt oppl\u00f8st, og sportssjefen i NVF administrerte aktiviteten. Men p\u00e5 et lederseminar i Tallinn, 2011, ble det vedtatt tiltak for reetablering. Et interrimsstyre ble 26. mai 2012 valgt, og l\u00f8rdag 23. mars 2013, ble kretsen reetablert p\u00e5 et stiftelsesm\u00f8te i Spydeberghallen, Spydeberg – da under navnet \u00d8stlandet Vektl\u00f8fterkrets.<\/p>\n

Under forbundstinget til NVF, 22. mars 2015, p\u00e5 Scandic Gardermoen Hotel, Gardermoen, ble det vedtatt at organisasjonsleddets navn skal v\u00e6re \u00d8stlandet Vektl\u00f8fterregion.<\/p>\n
